I was watching an old clip of Connors and Ashe playing the Wimby final; I think it was 1975. Ashe won using his Arthur Ashe HEAD COMP II which was I think a graphite composite racket. Question is- if Ashe had won Wimbledon using this in 1975, why did it take "graphite" a few more years to be popular?
