Bryan Brothers current string set-up?

$

Does anyone out there know - for a fact - what the Bryan Brothers are currently using as their string set-up?

I find conflicting reports recently on the subject. Some are posting they are using Prince Gut in the Mains and Prince Beast 17 in the crosses, others say now they have moved to a full bed of Luxilon Big Banger Ace 18 (including TW's own Pro Gear page).

Which is it (and what tension are the string at)?

After loosing my old Luxion "O" dampener, I bought Legacy Dampener

Hi,

So, I previously owned a "O" from Luxilon but I bought it on another forum from a stringer. It was therefore what the players were given, since Lux didn't make it avalaible for us (yet).

I didn't play with it for now.

BUT

My old one (lost) was much more soft and flexible. It could bend, and as rougher than the new one. The new one keeps its O shape, is much smoother.

Any thoughts from people who have used both?

The old one used to kill basically any vibration it was amazing.

Will Andy Murray leave Under Armour? Who will he sign with?

To be honest, I don't think he'll stay from 2019-onwards. I think he'll sign with New Balance or Asics, maybe even Adidas.

Herbert switch to Poly Tour Strike?

in the new TW video on YouTube, Steve Johnson, Hyeon Chung, Francis Tiafoe and Pierre-Hugues Herbert are being asked questions while holding their racquets. Besides Tiafoe, everyone else had silver/ grey strings in their racquet. Stevie and Chung might still be using alu power but Herbert's strings are no longer red (PTF)! Looks like he switched to poly tour strike in mains and still VS gut in the crosses.

It's cool that both shapovalov and Herbert are switching to this new string, I would...

Players start testing new pure strike racquets?

I was watching Miami open today Raonic vs M. Ymer’s game. Timer is using a black out Babolat racquet which clearly looks like a pure strike/pure control model. He has been using Babolat pure drives for years before. One more interesting thing is he and his older brother has different racquet sponsor (Babolat/Wilson)and also clothes sponsor( adidas/Nike)...I only find one clear image on google but it’s clear enough to see it’s not a pure drive/pure aero...

It is very (what's the word??) interesting to see a Prince Exo3 still in commission. I mean, this is very old school to keep that paint even tho there are still a few "Tour" users around.
I think the last time I saw and Exo3 on television.. I saw Nicolas playing Tommy Haas yesterday.. was Kveta Peshke in a doubles match maybe two years ago.

Is Federer using Lead Tape in his new Frame?

Can't see it anywhere, unless the Frame is just "perfect" and bumperless, thus needing no lead tape.

Wrawinka does not use any lead tape either, true? Same for Murray and Nadal, as no one can see any lead tape, number of layers, length of layers, etc...

Only Djoker and Berdych, can you see the lead tape on the head under the bumper...

Any news on Federer only acquiring a new frame, yet is perfectly suited thus no longer needing any lead tape?

Isner racquet length

Being 6 foot 10, John Isner has huge hands. Yet both easily fit on the handle. How long is the Isner Prince racket? 28 in? The head size appears to be a hundred square inches, and the throat is not shortened. So everything else about it appears normal, yet we see a lengthened handle.

Maybe I'm over analyzing a bit but it seems sad to me that the number one for the most part of the last few years, Isner, is now sponsored by Fila and Prince. For the most part those two companies are somewhat irrelevant at this point. Our current number one, Steve Johnson, is sponsored by Asics and Babolat. I really can't think of the last time I saw Asics in a pro shop and his Babolat doesn't even have the most recent PJ on it.

Not sure if anyone wants to know about this guy, but he responded to me on Twitter and said he uses the Steam with ALU Power @ 42 - 45 lbs depending on conditions. Definitely another pro that uses "low tensions" and that might be interesting to some.

Pros who have never switched racquet brands?

Reading a thread about so many pros switching brands made me think that there are only a handful of "lifers." Can anyone name any current (or former) top pros that have always been loyal to the same racquet brand since the junior circuit? I'll start it off:

-Hingis and Yonex
-Kournikova and Yonex
-Sharapova and Prince
-Federer and Wilson
-Sampras and Wilson

Any others?
