I've noticed that the players who are using the One7's are the players who played with the "real" Pure Strike the year the Pure Strike came out. Dominic Thiem and Heather Watson for instance.

I'm wondering if those players are keeping the original spec/stock/whatever of that first version with some sort of modification be it weight, balance, hoop size.. whatever.

I think the current strikes are just going to take over the previous Pure Storm specs. So that's my conspiracy theory. The...

I've been watching Kerber's match in Bastad and noticed she's not wielding her Yonex Si98 paintjob. Is this a new Si98 or is it the V Core F paintjob? Seems like a weird move from Yonex if she's all of a sudden endorsing a totally different frame.

The amazing thing about this forum that sucked me in was that from time to time there were threads that plainly explained what the actual racquets are and how they differ from retail. Often pictures from stringers or people who obtained frames reinforce the evidence as credible.

This thread isn't for the paintjobs, prostock, and custom molds. This thread is for pro players who someone has checked out their racquet, pulled back the curtain, and found nothing but maybe some lead and...

PS97S & Dimitrov Prototype Frame Observations

I was looking at the photo of the yet to be released PS97S, which peterfig called boxier, so I was trying to figure out how much boxier. It is near impossible to tell from a single photo, and even in the mockup below different lighting pretty much makes it a wash for comparing beam shape. I did find some other things though.
